Temppeliaukion Church

Welcome to Temppeliaukion Church – an architectural gem in the heart of Helsinki! The church, completed in 1969, is designed by architect brothers Timo and Tuomo Suomalainen.

The church hall is covered with a dome, lined with copper and supported on the rock walls by reinforced concrete beams. Due to its excellent acoustics, Temppeliaukion Church is also a highly popular concert venue.

Highlights:

  • An architectural gem: experience the granite, copper and concrete!
  • Great acoustics – check out our concerts!
  • Guided tours included in the entrance fee on selected days – ask for private tours as well!
