Enjoy a presidential visit to Tamminiemi Villa, the former residence of three Finnish presidents – Ryti, Mannerheim and Kekkonen. If national politics is something that interests you, this fascinating site is worth a visit. Home to many political discussions and decisions, imagine if the walls could talk...
Today, the museum is furnished as it was during Kekkonen's presidency between 1956-1980, in a 70s style.
Visitors can take part in a guided tour in English on Sundays at 2.30 pm (in October - April). Alternatively, free self-guided museum guides are available in English, Swedish, Russian and German - just ask at the ticket desk for more information.
